Flicker noise in two-dimensional electron gas

Using the method developed in a recent paper (Euro. Phys. J. B 92.8 (2019): 1-28) we consider $1/f$ noise two-dimensional electron gas (2DEG). The coherence length of system is considered as basic parameter for discretizing space, inside which dynamics electrons described by quantum mechanics, while scales much larger than it semi-classical. For our model, based on Thomas-Fermi-Dirac approximation, there are two control parameters: temperature $T$ and disorder strength ($\Delta$). Our Monte Carlo studies show that exhibits related to electronic avalanche size, can serve model describing experimentally observed flicker 2DEG. power spectrum with frequency an exponent interval $0.3<\alpha_{PS}<0.6$. We numerically avalanches scale-invariant power-law behaviors out metal-insulator transition line.

We briefly review the phenomenon of the spin-double refraction that originates at an interface separating a two-dimensional electron gas with Rashba spin-orbit coupling from a one without.
